On 25 September, water and environmental engineering students from the Estonian University of Life Sciences visited IWS to learn about our work and the manufacture of products for water and wastewater infrastructure.

Vaimar Vill, IWS Sales Manager for Estonia, introduced our modular plastic products – pumping stations, tanks, chambers and pipes – and explained how they are manufactured and tested. The visit also covered the design and production choices that help ensure product quality, a long service life, and safe operation and maintenance.

Seeing the production process helps students connect what they learn at university with practical solutions. It also gives them an insight into the knowledge they may use in future roles in design, construction, water utilities or manufacturing.
